The Mendes Company believes that Philanthropy is our connection to the community around us. By getting involved with the community and helping nourish the programs around us, it provides for a stronger community. We support a multitude of programs and would encourage the support of our clients in a few of the programs below:

HOME OF GUIDING HANDS:

Since its inception in 1961, Home of Guiding Hands has been committed to providing quality community support, critical housing and life skills training for individuals with developmental disabilities in San Diego County. Currently, HGH provides a multitude of services ranging from Early Start, Respite, Independent Living, Transportation, Counseling & Family Support, and Residential Services.

AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION:

Mission: To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

PARKINSON’S ASSOCIATION OF SAN DIEGO:

Mission: The Parkinson’s Association improves the quality of life for those affected by Parkinson’s through education, family services, and the support of promising research. Our Vision: A world without Parkinson’s.

ULMONARY FIBROSIS FOUNDATION:

The mission of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) is to serve as the trusted resource for the pulmonary fibrosis (PF) community by raising awareness, providing disease education, and funding research.
